There’s a new hotel in Phuket. Their own website calls out

Our friend from Backstage went there and gave us this report
“The owner and his BF are running the place and they run a more then decent operation of what I could make up.
The owner informs his customers extensively about the do’s and donts and informs & warns them about all the known pitfulls, specially to Patongs virgin tourists.
He is indeed very gay friendly and doesn’t hide him being gay from his straight customers without making them uncomfortable (saw and hear him check in a young chinese couple).
Now in the low season he has dominantly straight clients and hopes that will change round again when the season picks up again.
He landed no. 1 spot on tripadvisor for 2012.
The facilities are pretty nice though also not special… but then that’s all to the staff, isn’t it?!
The rooms (saw two) look very good, at least on first sight) and what I also noticed, when they expect a check inn, they switch on the aircon in set room and spray a very nice comfortable smell which all in all makes one feel quite welcome and pleasant!
