The Tangmo Club in the Paradise Centre in Phuket has come up with a new show. It’s quite long (almost an hour), but it is an interesting show. Before the show started they had a good crop of boys on the stage (around 20) and then we moved into the show. The intro was a bit long (two whole numbers with no action at all – just darkness) while they got ready, then it was off.

They start with a couple of ladyboy lip-synching numbers, but we’re used to that now. The dancers appeared to be two lads and two more ladyboys. OK not quite my cup of tea but still …

Then the show gets more raunchy, which reminded me a little of Bangkok shows. There were some good numbers and a good finale.

It was worth spending an hour there. One does wonder what it’s future will be though as a) drinks were also heading Bangkok way (150B for a soft drink and 200B for beer). b) the audience had a large number of women in it, many of whom appeared to be Russian. I know times are hard, but us gay men are not quite so keen on mixing. (Are we?)
