Great place to stay. Yes the rooms are a bit dated but the service makes up for that. Walking in to this hotel is like stepping back 20 years, the staff are just fabulous and it is certainly not pretentous, just so warm and welcoming. The room was great, not modern but very comfortable. The best thing is the complimentary breakfast served 24 hours in the cafe or delivered to your room. They offer full American breakfast and the ham and cheese omelette is the best I have had anywhere. Location is ideal and will definately stay here again. One note is if you do bring a guest they will be required to surrender their ID and sign in. This applies to all visiting guests regardless of their nationality. I found this quite acceptable and for my own security. It is not a problem with the hotel, they are just looking after your welfare. You are more than welcome to bring a guest back, they just make sure you are ok when they leave. The staff make this hotel great and I can not commend them enough.
