15 rooms of elegance and luxury at a reasonable price. It’s a little hard to find – being tucked down the first side soi on the left as you go up Soi 31 from Sukhumvit, but it’s worth looking for. It’s nicely furnished and the staff make you feel welcome. They are gay friendly and have no problems with guests coming back for the night.
If they have special packages, the rates are very reasonable (under 1,000B a night). Even the rack rate is good – under 1200B a night for a small suite.
Their “award winning” restaurant serves Italian food in the evening and a complimentary breakfast for people staying there.
All in all a comfortable place whose rate is very reasonable for what you get.

It’s marked on the Google maps so I went in there. After all I needed a base for the East end of Sukhumvit tour. There’s a definite “Arabic” feel about this place, from the decoration outside to the pool inside.
It’s basic, clean and cheap. Not really much more that one can say about it. The room was small but adequate, but workable. As a base for a few nights it’s a nice place. One thing that’s rarely happened to me in the past. The Bell Boy (aged about 20) who needlessly carried my bad up to my room, asked me if I wanted a massage later. I asked if he would do it and he said OK and came back later that evening. Rarely happens, but this was worth staying there. I will go back!

Hard to miss, this is a huge hotel (500 beds) on Sukhumvit Soi 4. If you come out of the Nana BTS station, walk past the Landmark Plaza, it’s down Soi 4 on the right hand side. Bearing in mind it’s location, this hotel is really a grand “Knocking Shop” for the Nana Plaza opposite. As such, guests are more than welcome. And gay travellers with male guests are not a problem at all. The rooms are adequate, being a mixture of Kitsch and cute. They’re not the cheapest around (starting at just under 1500B a night) but there always seem to be vacancies. breakfast from their HUGE buffet is included in the price.
Not a bad place, good location to explore Sukhumvit and being close to the BTS, good location to explore the rest of Bangkok.
