The massage places come and go with alarming regularity. If you go to a place that’s reviewed here and it’s gone, I apologise, but I can’t check them all every day. However please do tell me and I’ll take it off the website so no one else does the same. On the other hand if you find somewhere I’ve missed, again please do tell me and I’ll get it reviewed and online as quickly as I can.
Click on any venue to reach their individual page, should you wish to read or leave any comments about them. All the pictures will expand to give a larger version if clicked on.
Nice place and a good selection of boys (I counted around a dozen when I last went). The room had a private shower. The boys know the basics of massage skills, but don’t always give a great massage. The “Happy Ending” was not too happy though as the boy didn’t seem interested in my satisfaction, only his. We reached an agreement and both achieved what we were looking for. Bearing in mind all this, and the price (around 600B) it’s not on my “must return to again” list, but I was glad I went. If it was the only massage place in the area it would be great, but …
Don’t be put off by the entrance. They are there behind those gates. It’s tucked away down an alley off Soi Convent, but there’s a sign on the main road (or there was when I went). The address is 44/11 Soi Convent.
Top ratings go to this place. It’s clean, the boys are good, there are all sorts of them, the service is professional and it’s just fun! It’s a spa and massage place, so you can get pampered and then relax in the surroundings. There’s a gym – and they advertise “boys included”! In fact for a few Baht you can spend the whole time there in the company of a boy and they don’t seem to mind or hurry you up.
Great place – top marks! You can’t miss it – it’s obvious from Sathorn Soi 9. You just have to go round the bends a bit from Sathorn to get to it. Not TOO far to walk from Chong Nonsi, or get a taxi if you haven’t got your own transport.
This place is good. it has lots of boys to choose from, and they are all trained in massage. So from the outset you get a good massage and a good experience. The rooms have private showers. The price is the right end of fair and the service you get is good at the end. The boys are a bit on the muscly side for me, but that’s so much personal taste. They’re not afraid to give a strong massage though.
It’s on the second floor of the Silom Plaza, on Silom, just by Narthiwat Road. You can’t miss it. When I went there were a couple of oiks sitting on the nearby stairs. They offered me sex, (Hi Mister, what you look for? Want chagwow with me?) but I declined and went inside. I told the manager about the lads outside and he didn’t seem concerned. Whether they were barkers, or people trying to “poach” me to go to their private rooms, I don’t know and I don’t care. If the Arena put uniformed barkers outside they would save that embarrassment.
Reasonable place, but a bit on the “low-key” side. There aren’t too many boys there and you choose your masseur from a book. A quick call and he trots round. The place was hot the day I visited as they didn’t seem to have working air-conditioning. The tables were professional and the service was good. Nice massage and nice happy ending. But I really needed the shower at the end of it. Shame. Could be a great place, but just scrapes through as OK. Easy to find. Down Sathorn Soi 7 and the first alley on the left. It’s number 135/8.
King of places and one with an amazing reputation it well deserves. In the past, when I flew in to Bangkok, I’d always make the Babylon first stop after I’d checked in the hotel. A nice relaxing massage (maybe 2 hours) and I’d come out de-jet-lagged. So what does it offer for those who don’t know the place? First it’s a sauna. But on a huge scale. With several floors in two buildings of dark rooms, jacuzzis, steam and dry saunas, a gym, and a huge swimming pool and bar area in between. They also offer massage, and this is of a high standard (but there’s no happy ending – you don’t need one!) The hotel attached to the complex is sumptuous. If you don’t mind staying next to a sauna (and it’s a bit tucked away) this is luxury. They also have a variety of snack bars and a good restaurant. IF you were that way inclined you could spend the whole holiday here and not come out. Look out for their special parties, such as foam parties.
Finally if you’re fat, overweight and white, don’t worry. There are plenty of Thai boys there who will take care of you without asking for a tip…
Extremely popular massage place, but hard to find. First you have to negotiate the Rama IV Expressway (best done through the Metro tunnels), then find the place. Look for Soi Pluk Chit 1 and walk along to the multi story parking garage. Go in to the garage through the car entrance and the massage place is on the right hand wall about 4 units in.
It’s a nice place – all peace and calm when you get in. The doors are smoked so the world can’t intrude! It’s not the cheapest, but the massage is one of the better ones around. So really it’s a case of you pay your money and take your choice! A 90 minute aroma massage is 900B
Great place. Good selection of boys and the rooms are all nice. The ones I’ve used have had showers in them. They have beds rather than massage tables, which gives a clue to the type of service offered. But the prices are good and the feeling is nice. I’d have preferred longer massage and a bit less concentration on the hanky panky – but maybe that’s just me.
Bit tucked away down a side street off Convent. The address (which will help a bit) is 10/31 Convent. Once you see the right alley, you can’t miss it.
They now boast VIP rooms with flat screen TVs and DVD players and a hair salon with a resident stylist!
Welcome to Homme Club. They are conveniently located in Silom, in the center of Bangkok, just a few minutes walk from the Saladaeng skytrain station, the Silom subway station and the gay bars and restaurants of Silom Soi 2 and 4.
Homme Club is in a tastefully renovated multi-story house. All massage rooms are private and have their own shower. You will be personally welcomed by Win, Homme Club’s captain, who will introduce you to the handsome masseurs while you enjoy a complimentary drink.
The service is top level. This is a proper massage and spa with services to match. You are pampered throughout your stay and come out feeling on top of the world. At just under 1,000B for a 90 minute body massage with a minimum tip of 1,000B you need to feel good!
Nice clean massage place on Soi Ngamduplee, just across from the Malaysia and a tiny bit up towards Rama IV. It’s good and the boys offer nice service. I’d go again and had a fun time there.
This place does have it’s following and I can’t be too harsh on it. Some of my friends love it and say it’s the best place in Bangkok. You go and decide for yourself and let me know!
It’s unmissable on Soi Ngam Duphli with it’s HUGE banner!
“Welcome to the prince spa. It is a new downtown luxury spa decorated in a way that you expect and look forward to. It has a total of 34 rooms, massage rooms, a VIP room with a full range of entertainment. You can experience the atmosphere of privacy and space for leisure and business journey.”
So starts their website! It is nice and it is luxurious, but you pay for the privilege. I was “caught” taking this photo and a lad hurried out and offered me massage. No mention of “spa” services, just “hey mister, you want massage?” I declined (having already been massaged once that day and had a second appointment already in the calendar). If you go there and take a massage, let me know and I can write it up properly.
UPDATE 05/01/12 Sanctuary Spa now open and renamed. It’s now Sanctuary by A. The owner is one of the former masseurs.
Another really tucked away, yet popular place. You can tell if people are recommending somewhere that’s hard to get to, it must be good, and Sanctuary is.
A 90 minute aroma massage is 1,200B, and that’s top end of the price structure, but it’s a chunk of money worth spending for one of the better massages in the area.
You don’t pick your masseur. That’s done by the spa. For a great massage try it.
Small sauna on many floors. It has the usual offerings – a gym with a few pieces of equipment, two steam rooms and a dry sauna, several cabins and a dark room/maze. The place is buzzy with people, but mainly it would appear Thai on Thai. For an old, overweight farang you might struggle here.
The loungers on the upper two floors are nice, but that’s not what people come here for. It’s certainly cruisy and interesting. Worth popping in to depending on what you expect from it.
It’s not hard to find – directly on Soi Pipat 2 – It’s 35/2 if you’re checking the numbers.
Nice massage place in the same garage as Candle T. Look for Soi Pluk Chit 1 and walk along to the multi story parking garage. Go in to the garage through the car entrance and the massage place is on the right hand wall – it’s the first unit.
They have some good promotions and nice boys. As always it’s a case of who you get. If you get a good one you’ll have a great time. Newly renovated and clean.
Senso is a really nice massage place. The boys range from cute and slightly fem to quite hunky. The facility is clean and the massage delivered lives up to expectation. Each room has its own shower, a plus for many facilities. The one downside is the price. At 1,000B plus for an hour’s massage it’s among the most expensive around. If you feel like a good experience come here. If you don’t want to pay top dollar, there are plenty of other places out there. Easy to find, on Soi Sala Daeng on the right hand side just after Soi Sala Daeng 2 as you’re walking from Silom. 5/8 Soi Sala Daeng.

Nice new spa in the Thai Airways Building (Silom Plaza). It’s next to Silom Soi 3. Take the back elevator and go to the third floor. Walk up the stairs to the right and it’s down the corridor a little.
OK now you’re there, it’s OK. Much more a serious spa than (say) Arena Massage two floors down. If you want pampering this is the place to go. The surroundings (once you’re inside) are comfortable and the ambiance is good. The prices – well – this is a Bangkok Spa. They give big discounts to members, but it costs to join. If you’re going to enjoy a spa experience and fancy going here a couple of times, it’s good value.
Small little massage place on Silom near Soi Sala Daeng. The entrance is on the street level, but the place is above the shops, one (and more) floors up. It’s a mixed massage place, you can choose a boy, but the service given was was “OK”. The room was OK, the massage was OK, the happy ending was OK and price, well, OK. So I’ll give this an OK rating. If it had been the only place in town it would have been great. But with so much competition around it’s very average.
